Patrick Lambe—two-term president of the Information and Knowledge Management Society and founder and principal consultant of Straits Knowledge—suggests in a recently published article, “Taxonomy and Search Patterns for Search and Discovery,” that if taxonomy and search are integrated, they become smarter and deliver an improved user experience.
