The Ontologies Community of Practice has developed a webpage, which features ontologies ranging from genetics to socio-economics. The webpage provides at a glance the most popular ontologies in the agri-food domain along with the ontologies developed by CGIAR and its partners. The schema organizes ontologies along the agri-food pathway and it is interactive with direct links to ontologies’ website.
The webpage is a snapshot of the current ontologies environment and has been adapted from a schema created by Erick Antezana, Senior Data Management Scientist at Bayer Crop Science. It also offers a list of generic ontologies and thesauri and ontologies repositories. The page provides a short description and a direct link to each ontology. Furthermore, users can use the featured ontologies to annotate agri-food data.
