The information gathered from the Internet may be abundant but does not reflect an entirety. The boundless availability of data makes the search results an insignificant subset of the original quantity. Search engines also tend to be too traditional for the dynamic online network. This paper gives a picture of major web sites that occupy the network and web coverage on various subjects. The paper also points out that 54 percent of the web resources are formed by topic databases. Web sites that cover science, engineering, agriculture and health are named.
