Healthline Networks named search and ad partner for OptumHealth consumer health portal -

Health information services provider Healthline Networks, US, has announced it is the exclusive search and advertising partner to myOptumHealth.com (www.myoptumhealth.com), a new consumer health website from OptumHealth, the health and well-being business of United Health Group. Under the agreement, myOptumHealth.com is leveraging Healthline Medically Guided search technology in a bid to deliver a superior consumer health search experience. It is a premier partner in the Healthline Media Network, with Healthline acting as the exclusive advertising representative for direct and network sales.

Healthline Medically Guided search technology links myOptumHealth.com's reservoir of medically reviewed, evidence-based content, allowing consumers to access relevant health information on the site quickly and easily. myOptumHealth.com is projected to feature easy-to-understand, original content built upon OptumHealth's clinical expertise in serving 60 million Americans, as well as licensed content from renowned medical publishers.

The Healthline Media Network will represent myOptumHealth.com in all advertising transactions including display ads, custom media solutions and network packages. Launched in June 2008, the Healthline Media Network is powered by HealthSTAT, an ad targeting platform that places contextually relevant health and pharmaceutical advertisements across a network of blue-chip publisher partners.
