Research, sales and marketing services provider Publishers Communication Group (PCG), a division of Publishing Technology, Inc., UK, has announced that it has been selected by the Geological Society of London to expand its relationships and improve penetration in the North American library market. In January, PCG will appoint a sales representative to develop opportunities for GSL's Lyell collection as well as its individual leading journal titles.
PCG has continued its rapid growth in recent years, with more than twenty publishers choosing its sales representation and market research services in 2007. The company offers qualitative and quantitative marketing research, international multi-lingual telemarketing services, UK- and US-based customer services operations, sales representation, and strategic consulting.
The Geological Society of London is the UK national society for geoscience, and the oldest geological society in the world. The Society provides a wide range of professional and scientific support to around 9500 members, about 2000 of who live overseas. More than 2000 Fellows are also Chartered Geologists.
