Information services provider Atypon Systems, Inc., US, has signed an agreement with the Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS), to develop a new website for the delivery of the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal Watch professional newsletters.
Atypon's experience in providing leading scholarly publishers with sophisticated and flexible e-publishing solutions is expected to provide MMS with a highly customisable platform that will engage the user more effectively, provide enhanced reporting capabilities, and deliver increased value to readers of the New England Journal of Medicine.
With over 18,500 physicians and student members, the Massachusetts Medical Society is dedicated to educating and advocating for the patients and physicians of Massachusetts. The Society publishes the New England Journal of Medicine, one of the world's leading medical journals and websites and Journal Watch alerts and newsletters covering 12 specialties.
