Wiley-Blackwell, CfPA partner to offer online training to pharmaceutical and food quality industries -

Wiley-Blackwell, the STM and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., US, and The Center for Professional Advancement (CfPA) have announced a new partnership for the production and delivery of accredited online training courses focused on the pharmaceutical and food quality industries. The online training programmes of CfPA will be complemented and expanded in content and reach by the Wiley-Blackwell publications Pharmaceutical Formulation & Quality (PFQ) and Food Quality (FQ).

Under the deal, during the first year of the collaborative work, the two companies plan to produce and publish between 10 and 15 online training courses in food and pharmaceutical quality. This partnership aims to enhance the value of the information distributed to PFQ and Food Quality readers by offering vital training resources in new delivery formats. The Wiley-Blackwell, CfPA collaboration offers a valuable service to mutual clients. Timely, worthwhile commentary and convenient accredited online training will ensure life sciences and food professionals receive content that will increase their knowledge and broaden their experience.

The Center for Professional Advancement is a recognised accredited technical training organisation offering a comprehensive curriculum of over 350 public, Client Site and Online courses in 18 industries. This includes pharmaceutical, from discovery through manufacturing to consumer; Chemical; Food and Medical Device. CfPA has received "authorized provider" status from 14 scientific and engineering associations and societies to award accreditation to professionals who meet recognised standards of excellence through participation in approved courses.
