Media company Greenbranch Publishing, US, has announced that The Journal of Medical Practice Management (JMPM) will become the official journal of Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM), effective January 2009. In addition to the current benefits of membership, every PAHCOM member will receive the bi-monthly journal as part of membership dues.
The Journal of Medical Practice Management offers "how-to" advice for delivering high quality care, increasing patients' satisfaction, and improving medical practices' profitability. With an emphasis on working smarter and more efficiently, each 70-page issue features a host of proven strategies for dealing with fiscal management, marketing, information technology, benefits and compensation, legal and tax issues, office operations, coding, and human resources that practice administrators, practice managers and physicians face on a daily basis.
The journal, published since 1984, was acquired by Greenbranch Publishing in 1998 with the mission to bring timely, credible and valuable information to physicians and healthcare executives. Indexed in MEDLINE, the journal has a track record of providing the information that physicians and administrators need to help their practices thrive.
