Medical information provider Wolters Kluwer Health (WK Health), US, has announced a new partnership with biopharmaceutical company Bristol-Myers Squibb, US. The multi-year contract calls for WK Health to provide HIPAA-compliant prescription sales data to help Bristol-Myers Squibb measure business efficiency, control costs and determine sales force effectiveness.
The Wolters Kluwer Health Source data-set captures nearly 80 percent of the prescription transactions in the US. It also boasts data from America's largest retail pharmacy chains including an exclusive agreement with the ArcLight consortium, which adds an incremental 360 million annual prescriptions generated by more than 4,100 retail outlets that are unique to the Wolters Kluwer Health dataset.
The Wolters Kluwer Health healthcare analytics product group pioneered prescriber-level data, and has continued to innovate in the categories of managed markets data and patient longitudinal data.
