Health information services provider Healthline Networks, US, has announced that AOL Health, dLife, iVillage, Organized Wisdom, tudiabetes.com and WrongDiagnosis.com have joined the Healthline Media Network. Healthline Media Network claims to be the only Internet advertising platform to leverage Medically Guided search technology to deliver health and pharmaceutical advertising.
Under terms of the agreements, the Healthline Media Network will augment the publishers' direct ad sales teams by matching unsold inventory with contextually relevant, targeted health and pharmaceutical advertising. With the addition of these new partners, the Healthline Media Network has quickly grown to become the largest condition-specific health marketing platform, with a potential reach of over 30 million quality health seekers a month.
Launched in June 2008, the Healthline Media Network is powered by HealthSTAT (Semantic Taxonomy Ad Targeting), an ad targeting platform that places contextually relevant health and pharmaceutical advertisements across a network of blue-chip publisher partners. HealthSTAT also enables advertisers to customise rules for optimal results, delivering clinically accurate contextual adjacencies for greater ROI in every campaign.
