Greenwood, a publishing imprint of ABC-CLIO, US, recently announced an agreement with YBP Library Services, a leading provider of materials to academic libraries. Under the deal, YBP Library Services will act as the non-exclusive agent for the sale of Greenwood's online databases in the US.
A Baker & Taylor company, YBP Library Services provides books and supporting collection management and technical services to academic, research, and special libraries in North America and around the world. The company's online, interactive bibliographic information service, GOBI, provides access to 2.0 million titles in an English-language database.
Greenwood Press publishes reference books across the middle and high school and college and university curriculum as well as on general-interest topics. Praeger Publishers is Greenwood's line of scholarly and professional books in the social sciences and humanities, with emphasis on modern history, military studies, psychology, business, current events and social issues, international affairs, politics, visual and performing arts and literature.
