Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, has announced the acquisition of the journal Agricultural Finance Review from Cornell University, US. The journal is edited by Professor Calum G Turvey, who currently holds the W.I. Myers Professor of Agricultural Finance position at Cornell University, USA.
This acquisition will lead to expansion of the journal to become international in content, having previously been based predominantly in the US. The journal will remain current and relevant, providing a medium for the exchange of ideas for developed and developing agricultural economies.
Agricultural Finance Review focuses on issues relating to agricultural and agribusiness finance.
It provides research that is both rigorous and relevant to the field, which fits the 'Research you can use' publishing philosophy championed by Emerald. The journal covers a variety of topics including agricultural finance; agricultural lending and credit issues; farm credit; businesses and financial risks affecting agriculture and agribusiness and rural credit in developing economies.
Agricultural Finance Review will be is published by Emerald from volume 69, issue1 and is available at www.emeraldinsight.com/afr.htm. Issues 60 to 68 are also currently available on the journal homepage.
