Informa Pharmaceutical Science, a division of Informa Business Information, has announced the inclusion of two of its titles in the US National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE Index. Informa's Journal of Medical Economics (JME) and Expert Opinion on Therapeutic Patents are joining the company's related titles (including Current Medical Research and Opinion and eight other titles in the Expert Opinion series) on the prestigious bibliographic database that contains more than 16 million references to journal articles in life sciences and biomedicine.
JME is an international peer-reviewed journal that has a main editorial focus on pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research and quality of life studies. The journal publishes leading studies determining the cost-effectiveness of treatments and high-quality economic assessments of novel therapeutic and device interventions. JME's inclusion in MEDLINE allows the citations from articles indexed, the indexing terms and the English-language transcripts to be included and searchable on PubMed which, in turn, is expected to raise the journal's profile and create exciting opportunities for growth.
Informa's Expert Opinion on Therapeutic Patients is a peer-reviewed, international journal publishing articles on recent pharmaceutical patent claims and providing expert opinion in the scope for future development.
Maintained by the US National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online) is a premier bibliographic database containing about 13 million references to journal articles in life sciences.
