Dutch Universities gain access to Taylor & Francis Group’s Library -

Publisher Taylor & Francis Group (T&F), UK, has announced a new partnership with UKB, the Dutch consortium of the 13 university libraries and the National Library of the Netherlands. The deal is to provide University researchers in the Netherlands access to academic research via the Taylor & Francis Library. Twelve UKB members have purchased Taylor & Francis’ journal content.

The new partnership, negotiated by SURFdiensten, provides users in the Netherlands with access to 900 quality journals in 14 social science and humanities disciplines. Researchers in the Netherlands will also be able to access latest research from over 260 peer-reviewed journals in 5 science and technology disciplines.

The quality of the Taylor & Francis Library content is confirmed by over 610 journals listed in Thomson Reuters’ Citation Indexes/Web of Science. Of these around 450 are ranked with Impact Factors in the 2008 Journal Citation Reports. In addition, Taylor & Francis publishes the top ranked title in 15 categories, including Urban Studies, Transport Science & Technology, Environmental Sciences, Oceanography, Food Science & Technology, Cybernetics, Ethnic Studies, Ethics, Public Administration, and History of Social Science.
