The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)International, US, has partnered with UK-based Findlay Media for a new publication focusing on the design and engineering elements of the automotive industry. Automotive Design magazine, a collaborative project between SAE International and Findlay Media, will provide its 20,000 audience of Europe wide design engineers a cross section of technology based case studies and features.
The magazine’s format will help readers get a broad scope of relevant content in each issue, as well as in-depth coverage of a specific area. In addition, the magazine will be supported by a Web site containing many Web 2.0 features, including blogs, reader comments, videos, downloadable white papers, and more.
Automotive Design will publish every other month, starting in March. Each issue will include interviews; columnists; technology features covering powertrain and energy, systems and design, electronics, chassis systems, materials and safety; automotive design essential features; research and analysis; and ‘60-second interview.’
