STM publisher Springer, Germany, has announced a partnership with the Anthropological Society of Paris to publish the latter’s scientific journal Bulletins et mémoires de la Société d'Anthropologie de Paris. The journal claims to be the oldest journal on biological anthropology. It has been published by the society itself since 1859, when it was launched parallel to the founding of the Anthropological Society of Paris.
Articles published in English or French in the bulletin cover the whole multidisciplinary spectrum of biological anthropology from paleoanthropology to human ecology, and from population genetics to burial archaeology. Published twice a year, the journal includes original research papers, review articles, book reviews and meeting reports. It also devotes a special section to the history of the discipline itself.
The Bulletins et mémoires de la Société d'anthropologie de Paris will further enhance Springer’s catalogue of social sciences publications. Springer has over 500 books and around 20 journals in this discipline.
