Academic publisher SAGE has announced that the Jönköping University in Sweden has become the first Scandinavian institution to purchase SAGE Research Methods Online (SRMO), an innovative online research tool for researchers.
SRMO provides advanced search and discovery tools to support researchers and students as they explore relevant content across the social and behavioural sciences, covering quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods. More than 100,000 pages of SAGE's leading book and reference material on research methods are available through SRMO, along with newly commissioned video content.
Key functionality within the tool includes a customised taxonomy based on more than 1400 unique methods theories, and terms enable users to explore connections between content, including using a visual search interface, the 'Methods Map'. Users can also create and share 'lists' of content, useful for both storing information for personal reference or for sharing with peers or students.
