Healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with the Chinese Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery (CJAPS). Under the deal, LWW will provide selected articles and abstracts from Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS), the official journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, to be translated into Chinese and published in CJAPS. LWW is the publisher of record for PRS.
Karen Abramson, President and CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health Medical Research, joined CJAPS at a signing ceremony in Shenyang, China, on September 14. The signing ceremony was attended by leading Chinese plastic & reconstructive surgery specialists, along with representatives from CJAPS, PRS, and Wolters Kluwer. CJAPS will feature PRS full text articles in Chinese and English abstracts in a special section of the journal on a bi-monthly basis.
Published monthly, CJAPS is a Chinese language journal with English abstracts. The journal is considered of the highest academic quality, recognised in China and internationally, and offers comprehensive information on the subject of aesthetic surgery.
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers subscribers up-to-the-minute reports on the latest techniques and follow-up for all areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery. The cosmetic section provides expanded coverage on new procedures and techniques.
