Open access (OA) scholarly publisher Co-Action Publishing, Sweden, has announced that it has been selected by the International Meteorological Institute in Stockholm (IMI) to publish the institute's two journals - Tellus Series A: Dynamic Meteorology and Oceanography and Tellus Series B: Chemical and Physical Meteorology - from January 2012.
The new partnership entails a transition to an Open Access publishing model by which the journals will be made freely and immediately available electronically. Access to the entire archive - dating back to 1949 - will be freely available through the journals' new websites.
Associate Professor Harald Lejenäs is Editor-in-Chief for Tellus Series A, while Professor Henning Rodhe is Editor-in-Chief of Tellus Series B. Both editors are based at the Department of Meteorology at Stockholm University, Sweden, and are supported by international editorial boards.
