The Journal of Neuroscience Nursing (JNN) has announced a renewed commitment to the clinical research and important contributions that neuroscience nurses are seen bringing to the growing healthcare specialty. The journal, the official title of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses (AANN), has focused on clinically applicable evidence-based research for nurses specialising in neurological disorders for more than 40 years. JNN is published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, a part of Wolters Kluwer Health.
To highlight its focus on clinically applicable evidence-based research, JNN carries a new tagline, 'Delivering the Latest Evidence in Neuroscience Clinical Practice.' Its Impact Factor increased after its first year on the Journal Citation Reports, published by Thomson Reuters, in what is seen as a reflection of the journal's expanding contribution to the scientific discussion in the care for neurological disorders.
Each bimonthly issue of JNN seeks to deliver important new articles on nursing management of stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, dementias, brain tumors, and more, while providing professional development with continuing education opportunities in each issue. Expert reviews and commentary provide perspective on the latest developments in neuroscience nursing practice, across clinical settings.
