Wiley-Blackwell and ARS-AAOA announce publishing partnership -

Wiley-Blackwell, the STM and scholarly business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., US, has announced a new partnership with the American Rhinologic Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (ARS-AAOA). Under the deal, Wiley-Blackwell will publish the latter's official journal, International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology. Dr. David W. Kennedy of the University of Pennsylvania will serve as Editor-in-Chief.

Slated for launch in February 2011, the journal will cover a broad range of topics including cranial base surgery, medical and surgical management, pathophysiology/epidemiology of respiratory tract disease, upper and lower respiratory tract, unified airway, chronic rhino-sinusitis, and allergy.

International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology will serve as the only official publication of the ARS-AAOA, and its prescribed vehicle for publication of organisational funded research and scientific meeting presentations. Publishing six times a year, the journal will provide a forum for clinical researchers, basic scientists, clinicians, and others to publish original research and explore controversies in the medical and surgical treatment of patients with otolaryngic allergy, rhinologic, and skull base conditions. In addition to publishing content from the ARS-AAOA membership and meetings, the journal will serve as an educational tool for specialists in these fields.
