BMJ Group announces agreements with Ministry of Health in Iraq and Scientific and Technological Research Council in Turkey -

Medical publisher BMJ Group, UK, has announced that two international agreements have recently been signed between the Group and the Ministry of Health in Iraq and The Scientific and Technological Research Council in Turkey.

In Iraq, the Group has signed a 3-year national licence agreement with the Iraq Ministry of Health to enable all doctors in Iraq keep their clinical knowledge and skills up-to-date. A customised version of BMJ learning – http://learning.bmj.com/iraq - incorporates BMJ Learning's CME and CPD modules as well as modules commissioned especially for Iraq. The e-learning service also includes access to specialist BMJ Journals, an online community forum, and to BMJ Case reports which provides an opportunity for Iraq's doctors to publish their own local cases.

In Turkey, Tubitak (the Scientific and Technological Research Council) has signed an agreement with the BMJ Group to enable all 65 Ministry of Health research and training hospitals to gain access to Best Practice from the BMJ Evidence Centre. Best Practice provides research evidence, expert opinion and guidelines around enabling health professionals to find comprehensive answers to questions about diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and prevention.

BMJ Group helps clinicians and organisations worldwide to improve patient outcomes with a wide range of evidence-based medicine products. From trainee to consultant, the Group offers doctors around the world tailored information, special events, learning resources and recruitment services at every step along their career path.
