Online health solutions provider Everyday Health, Inc., US, has announced that its MedPage Today property has established a partnership with the American College of Cardiology (ACC). The deal is to provide news coverage from more than 20 major cardiology meetings. The content partnership will be in place at the ACC's 60th Annual Scientific Session & Expo, April 3-5 in New Orleans, the world's premier meeting for the practice of cardiology.
Under the new partnership, ACC and MedPage Today will collaborate to provide robust, in-depth coverage of 'On-the-Scene' live coverage of more than 20 top cardiology meetings worldwide, as determined by ACC and MedPage Today editors and officials. Prior to this relationship, CardioSource.org had provided news coverage of the four major general cardiology meetings each year.
Meeting coverage under the new MedPage Today-ACC partnership includes plenary sessions, late breakers, posters, press conferences, major clinical study reports and daily breaking news. The partnership allows for video interviews with experts and co-branded meeting news coverage for ACC's CardioSource.org website.
MedPage Today claims to be the fastest-growing health professional website and reaches more than one-third of all physicians online. With the ACC partnership in place and the combination of databases, MedPage Today reaches 96 percent of all cardiologists.
