Open access publisher BioMed Central, UK, has announced that its journal Stem Cell Research & Therapy is expected to receive its first Impact Factor in June 2012. The journal has been accepted for tracking by Thomson Reuters.
Stem Cell Research & Therapy is the major forum for translational research into stem cell therapies. An international peer-reviewed journal, it publishes open access research articles. The journal has a special emphasis on basic, translational, and clinical research into stem cell therapeutics, including animal models, and clinical trials.
Launched in March 2010, Stem Cell Research & Therapy recently marked its first anniversary.
