Hawaii Department of Education selects McGraw-Hill Education's Reading Wonders program for state-wide use -

Digital learning company McGraw-Hill Education, US, has announced that the Hawaii Department of Education has selected McGraw-Hill Reading Wonders – the first-to-market K-6 core reading program built from the ground up to address the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts – as the exclusive reading program for classrooms across the 'Aloha State.' Reading Wonders will first be implemented in approximately 25 elementary schools at the start of the 2013 school year, making it the first exclusive adoption of a single program in the state's history.

McGraw-Hill Reading Wonders offers a differentiated and personalised approach to reading that motivates students to exceed their current reading level and provides teachers with explicit lessons and differentiated resources to help accelerate learning. Reading Wonders offers interconnected digital platforms for students and teachers across any device.

The teacher platform provides instructors with the exact resources they need for each day and a built in plan, and facilitates digital whole-group lessons through a revolutionary presentation tool. Students are equipped with a digital platform of their own, where they can complete and save their work, access and submit assignments and games, and collaborate digitally with their peers and teachers.
