Vital Source Technologies, Inc., part of Ingram Content Group Inc, US, has announced an agreement to provide e-textbook management and distribution for DeVry University. The University claims to be one of North America's largest higher education institutions for technology, science, business and the arts.
The VitalSource platform, with 1.6 million registered users and a presence on 6,000 campuses in 180 countries, will provide comprehensive content distribution for all textbooks used by DeVry University online students. The VitalSource solution will be integrated with the university's learning management system, eCollege, for its global community. Using the platform, students and faculty will be able to easily access content via download, online or mobile options including popular iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch devices.
Vital Source currently delivers tens of thousands of titles from the world's leading textbook publishers, including Elsevier, Pearson, Cengage, Macmillan, John Wiley and Sons, McGraw-Hill, Wolters Kluwer, Oxford University Press, Taylor & Francis, and many others to users worldwide.
