Healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has announced that it has signed an agreement to serve as exclusive publisher for the journal Pathology, effective January 1, 2011. The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA), which produces Pathology, is responsible for the training and professional development of pathologists and for the promotion of the science and practice of pathology.
Pathology focuses on peer-reviewed, original articles related to the science of pathology in its broadest sense, including anatomical pathology, chemical pathology and biochemistry, cytopathology, experimental pathology, forensic pathology and morbid anatomy, genetics, haematology, immunology and immunopathology, microbiology, and molecular pathology.
One of the new access channels for the journal will be its inclusion in LWW's recently launched Pathology Network, a single source solution that provides pathologists quick access to all the current articles from the complete line of LWW published pathology journals. In addition, Pathology will be available for institutional access exclusively through OvidSP, the global medical research platform of Ovid, LWW's sister company within Wolters Kluwer Health.
