EDP Sciences and Cambridge University Press announce new publishing agreement -

Society publisher EDP Sciences (Édition Diffusion Presse Sciences), France, and academic publisher Cambridge University Press (CUP) have announced that following the success of the first wave of EDP Sciences journals to be electronically hosted, marketed, and sold by CUP, five more journals have made the move to Cambridge Journals Online.

The continued cooperation between both publishers is expected to maximise the dissemination of scientific research through Cambridge's global footprint.

The new titles are: Mechanics & Industry (formerly Mécanique & Industries); International Journal of Metrology and Quality Engineering; Revue de Métallurgie – International Journal of Metallurgy; European Astronomical Society Publications Series; and Journal of Dentofacial Anomalies and Orthodontics.

With papers from industry, research and development departments and academic institutions, Mechanics & Industry (formerly Mécanique & Industries) acts as an interface between research and industry, coordinating and disseminating scientific and technical research in mechanics in relation to industrial activities.

International Journal of Metrology and Quality Engineering publishes articles dealing with applied metrology and advances in the technology and techniques of measurement in industry and in research. This interdisciplinary journal is relevant to all areas of applied science where accurate measurements are vital for quality research. Fields covered include mechanics, electronics, physics, chemistry, biology, and medicine.

Revue de Métallurgie – International Journal of Metallurgy publishes peer-reviewed research papers in the field of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy. It seeks to strengthen the dialogue between science and industry and emphasise the importance of technological innovation at a time when the metallurgy industry is challenged by issues surrounding energy, raw materials, and the environment.

The European Astronomical Society Publications Series was launched to publish the proceedings of selected scientific meetings, including the proceedings of conferences, symposia, and workshops, held in Europe and beyond. The ESA review process ensures that only research of the highest scientific standards is accepted for publication.

The Journal of Dentofacial Anomalies and Orthodontics publishes articles by distinguished authors on major developments in dentofacial orthopaedics, both in relation to basic science and to clinical applications.
