Academic publisher Maney Publishing, UK, has announced its participation in the Kudos pilot scheme.
Launching in April 2014, Kudos will provide recent Maney authors with the chance to explain their work in simplified terms (to increase its accessibility), to share these explanations via email and social media (to increase discoverability), and to measure the effects of these activities on abstract views, downloads and Altmetric scores.
Kudos is a new service for researchers and their institutions, which provides a set of tools that helps them maximise the visibility and impact of their published articles.
