Siemens engineers and scientists worldwide gain access to Knovel’s Web-based technical references -

Knovel, provider of a Web-based application integrating technical information with analytical and search tools, has announced that Siemens, the global powerhouse in electronics and electrical engineering, now provides access to Knovel’s Web-based technical references to its 30,000 engineers and scientists worldwide.

With interactive and validated content across 28 subject areas, the engineers have convenient access to a wide range of information useful in product design and development including guidance, best practices and materials selection.

Siemens is an integrated technology company with business and products focused on four sectors - Energy, Healthcare, Industry and Infrastructure & Cities. Under the Siemens Centre for Knowledge Interchange Program, the company works closely with a global network of universities from which it regularly employs graduates. These universities include the Technical University, Munich, Technical University of Denmark, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Tsinghua University in Beijing, where students have access to and use Knovel in their studies.
