Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer has announced a new partnership with the Federación Nacional de Clínicas Privadas (FNCP), an organisation representing over 550 of the private healthcare institutions in Spain.
The collaboration reflects Wolters Kluwer's focus on fostering growth in the Spanish market and broadening adoption of UpToDate®, the clinical decision support resource used by more than 1 million doctors worldwide. The partnership supports a common mission of the FNCP and Wolters Kluwer to improve care in hospitals and clinics across the country.
As the FNCP strategically focuses on ensuring a higher quality of care and better health outcomes, UpToDate helps member institutions realise these goals by equipping clinicians with access to the most current clinical recommendations to make the best decisions for patients. Working with the FNCP also complements access to UpToDate currently available at over 300 healthcare sites in the Sistema Nacional de Salud (SNS), Spain's national health system operated by Spain's Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality.
