McGraw-Hill Education, a division of the McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., US, has formed a collaboration with ePals Corporation, an education media company and a leading global learning network. The partnership pairs world-class content from McGraw-Hill Networks, McGraw-Hill Education's award-winning digital social studies learning program for Grades 6-12, with ePals' global community and social learning platform. The collaboration will allow teachers and students to connect with peers in more than 200 countries to enjoy the type of authentic, global learning experiences that are required for 21st century education and workplace success.
McGraw-Hill Education's digital learning resources will provide users of ePals and McGraw-Hill Education products with a new source of dynamic educational project- and activity- based learning experiences aligned to McGraw-Hill Education's trusted content. With a strong focus on critical thinking, reading, writing and other academic skill development, these interactive experiences will aid teachers in meeting Common Core as well as other standards. McGraw-Hill Education's resources on ePals will be directed initially toward middle school and high school social studies topics. Additional core curriculum content from McGraw-Hill Education on ePals is planned for the future.
Launched in 2011, McGraw-Hill Networks combines engaging print and digital resources to help students discover and learn essential social studies content. The programme can be personalised and customised for each student to support differentiated instruction, and transforms social studies instruction and learning into an exciting and interactive experience.
