SAGE begins publishing official journal of the International Transactional Analysis Association -

Academic publisher SAGE has been chosen by the International Transactional Analysis Association to publish its journal, the Transactional Analysis Journal (TAJ), beginning in January 2013.

A quarterly publication, The TAJ is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal focusing on transactional analysis theory, principles, and application in a broad range of disciplines in human relations work, including psychotherapy, counselling, education, and organisational development. It offers scholarly articles from all theoretical perspectives and fields of application, including papers devoted to theory development, quantitative and qualitative research, case studies, book reviews, and reflective essays. Two of the four annual issues are organised around themes, with upcoming issues focusing on topics such as groups; childhood and adolescence; loss, death, and dying; and families.

The journal welcomes contributions from scholars, practitioners, and researchers from within the transactional analysis communities as well as those committed to dialogue from other theoretical frames of reference. The journal's co-editors welcome this new enterprise with SAGE Publications, heralding a new phase for the journal as it fully enters the digital age.
