SLACK Inc. announces increased impact factor for the Journal of Refractive Surgery -

SLACK Incorporated, an independent STM publishing company, has announced that the Journal of Refractive Surgery's impact factor has increased by 25% compared to last year.

According to data released by the Journal Citation Reports® (JCR) Thomson Reuters, 2015, the Journal's impact factor for 2014 is 3.468 with a ranking of 7 out of 57 ophthalmology journals. This is an increase over the Journal's 2013 impact factor of 2.781 and a ranking of 11 out of 58 ophthalmology journals.

The Journal of Refractive Surgery is the official journal of the International Society of Refractive Surgery, a partner of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. The journal has been a monthly peer-reviewed forum for original research, review, and evaluation of refractive and lens-based surgical procedures for more than 30 years.
