Mary Ann Liebert, Inc reports significant growth in impact factors of its journals -

Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishers has announced significant growth in the impact factors of its peer-reviewed journals, as reported in the 2012 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) (Thomson Reuters 2013). Sixty percent of the Publisher's portfolio of indexed journals received increased impact factors, with 20 titles seeing double-digit percentage increases.

Of particular significance is the increase, and continued impact to the field, of Journal of Interferon & Cytokine Research, the first journal published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., now in its 33rd volume. Other notable results include Journal of Neurotrauma with an 18 percent increase, AIDS Research and Human Retroviruses with a 20 percent increase, AIDS Patient Care and STDs with a 28 percent increase, and Photomedicine and Laser Surgery with a 30 percent increase.

Flagship publications Human Gene Therapy, Tissue Engineering, and Stem Cells and Development maintained strong impact factors and reinforced their positions as leaders in their respective fields.

The company's position as a leading STEM research publisher was further enhanced by increased impact factors for journals such as Astrobiology, and High Altitude Medicine & Biology, and an impressive first impact factor of 2.333 for Lymphatic Research and Biology.
