Springer, part of Springer Nature, has published for Huawei Technologies ("Huawei") an English-language technical reference book entitled HCNA Networking Study Guide in support of the ICT multinational's HCNA (Huawei Certified Network Associate) Series Certifications. This is the first international publishing project Springer has delivered for a Chinese corporation.
Huawei is one of the world's leading providers of next generation telecommunications networks and a front-runner in technical innovation, having nearly 50,000 patents filed globally. With products, services and solutions provided to customers across 170 countries and regions, Huawai has seen an increasing demand for the training and certification of qualified ICT professionals in major marketplaces it serves.
Huawei provides the only full range of technical certifications in the ICT industry, namely three levels of certifications: HCNA, HCNP (Huawei Certified Network Professional) and HCIE (Huawei Certified Internetwork Expert) series. These certification services have been expanded into many markets besides China, mainly in Western Europe, Africa, the South Pacific, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
The guide book on HCNA certification is aimed at helping its readers gain the knowledge and skills required for the basic configuration and maintenance of small- to medium-sized networks by focusing on the most key and difficult aspects of the HCNA network technology. It covers network fundamentals, provides an introduction to Huawei’s Versatile Routing Platform, and presents the principles of Ethernet and VLAN, network security and management, among others.
Compiled and translated by Huawei, the approximately 320-page book is now available at link.springer.com for download.
