ACCUCOMS and The University of Chicago Press announce new representation arrangement -

ACCUCOMS, a provider of sales and marketing services for publishers, and The University of Chicago Press have announced a major new agreement for sales representation in Europe, Turkey, Latin and South America, India, Middle East and North Africa.

One of the oldest and most influential university presses in the world, The University of Chicago Press publishes nearly 70 journals in the social sciences, humanities, and general sciences. Many of the prestigious titles published by the Press have over a century of continuous publication and are considered the leading titles in their fields.

Recently, The University of Chicago Press announced the launch of its new journals publishing platform in 2016, an investment that will offer its customers an experience reflecting the most advanced developments in electronic publishing.

The 3-year deal between Accucoms and The University of Chicago Press will focus on bringing the premium scholarship published by the Press to several growth markets, securing mutually beneficial arrangements with Consortia groups, and introducing existing customers in more mature markets to the benefits of the new platform.

The agreement with The University of Chicago Press follows on from recent representation agreements with other humanities and social science publishers including University of California Press and Duke University Press.
