Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has announced the selection of Atypon, the Silicon Valley-based publishing technology firm, to host all SAGE Journals content on Literatum, Atypon’s pioneering online publishing platform.
Literatum, designed to support active publishing strategies, is ideally suited to SAGE's innovative approach to publishing. SAGE will have direct control of publication site designs and the ability to deliver intuitive, engaging user experiences, including content tailored for each visitor.

With the inclusion of SAGE Journals, Literatum will be home to 30 percent of all English-language scholarly journals - more than 9,600 journal titles, 16.1 million articles — and 1,843 publication websites that handle more than 1.7 billion user sessions per year.
