Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC), a global licensing and content solutions organisation and a commercial document-delivery provider, has announced that the Endocrine Society has implemented its RightsLink®. The Endocrine Society is the world's oldest, largest, and most active organisation devoted to research on hormones and the clinical practice of endocrinology.
RightsLink enables publishers to provide immediate online permissions to licensees and eliminate costs associated with manual processing, allowing permissions staff to focus on high-value transactions. Each implementation is configured to support the publisher's unique business and pricing rules and offers reporting tools that help publishers analyze their permissions business and identify areas of growth. The Endocrine Society will use RightsLink to allow visitors to its website to license journal content quickly and easily for republishing or reuse.
With more than 18,000 members from over 120 countries, the Endocrine Society works to foster a greater understanding of endocrinology among the general public and practitioners of complementary medical disciplines. Further, it promotes this understanding to all endocrinologists at the international and national scientific research and health policy levels of government.
