Kudos, the service for maximizing the reach and impact of research publications, and Aries Systems, have announced a partnership through which plain language summaries will be captured at the point of submission within Editorial Manager.
Earlier in 2016, Kudos ran a six-month pilot to assess author interest in providing plain language summaries when they submitted their manuscripts online; 45% opted to provide these, helping drive broader readership post-publication through Kudos.
