John Wiley and Sons, Inc. announces new partnership with Overleaf, enables author collaboration -

Publisher John Wiley and Sons, Inc. has announced a new partnership with Overleaf, a cloud-based, collaborative authoring tool, that makes writing, editing and submitting research for publication quicker and easier. This new partnership reflects Wiley's commitment to offering exceptional author service and will further enhance the publication experience for authors by enabling straightforward collaboration and offering significant time-saving on writing, formatting and submitting articles to Wiley's journals.

Authors will be able to register to use the Overleaf service to write, edit and collaborate on their research easily online. The partnership means that Overleaf will provide authors using their service with access to Wiley's authoring templates, allowing authors to easily prepare and edit their manuscripts online, and submit directly to more than 80 of Wiley's journals with one-click, at no cost to the author. No additional software requires downloading, allowing authors to start writing and collaborating instantly from anywhere, and on any device.

With real-time collaboration and composition, Overleaf allows authors to see how their final project will look as they type – allowing for effective and transparent co-authoring.
