BMJ Learning partners with Think Associates -

BMJ Learning, an international provider of online CME and postgraduate training, has teamed up with Think Associates to help healthcare professionals at UK hospitals improve their knowledge and deliver the very best care to their patients.

The partnership will provide access to BMJ Learning's Hospital Collection via Think Associates' bespoke Totara Learning Management System (LMS).

Developed with working medical and nursing staff to reflect real life situations, BMJ Learning's Hospital Collection offers e-learning that addresses critical areas for hospitals such as priority clinical conditions, safer prescribing, practical procedures, induction and preparing for life on the wards. Multiprofessional teams learn using a mixture of 3D animation, audio, images, text and clinical cases, all peer-reviewed and regularly updated to reflect the very latest guidance.

Totara Learn is a fully configurable Learning Management System (LMS) that allows organisations to manage all of their learning requirements through individual learning plans which reflect their employee's roles, training needs and objectives. Think Associates have developed specialised enhancements to Totara for healthcare organisations that allow NMC revalidation, clinical supervision and compliance reporting to be effectively managed by the system; meeting the needs of clinical, nursing and professional education teams.

With this integration, BMJ e-learning activities can form part of an individual's wider development programme and organisations will be able to manage, control access and effectively report on compliance via a single learning portal. Totara can be implemented quickly and at a fraction of the cost of proprietary solutions, providing quality and cost effective solutions to UK healthcare organisations.
