SPIE and ACCUCOMS extend collaboration to MENA -

ACCUCOMS has expanded its relationship with SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics, by representing the SPIE Digital Library in MENA in addition to its already established agreements in India and Eastern Europe. The agreement is effective January 1, 2018.

More than 469,000 research papers and 320 ebooks from the SPIE Press are published in the SPIE Digital Library, making it the world's largest collection of optics and photonics research. Approximately 18,000 new articles and 25 ebooks are added each year.

In MENA, ACCUCOMS Commercial Manager EMEA Eyad Mohammad, will oversee contacts for SPIE. Technical articles in the SPIE Digital Library include conference proceedings from 1962 through its most recent events, and articles from the society publisher's 10 peer-reviewed scholarly journals.

Through the 'e-First' publishing program, individual articles from journal issues and proceedings volumes are published electronically in the SPIE Digital Library. 'e-First' ensures that they are available for subscribers as rapidly as possible.
