The editorial and publishing teams of the Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications journal have announced that the journal has been accepted in the Clarivate Analytics Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
The Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) was launched late 2015 as a new database within Clarivate Analytics' Web of Science™ Core Collection, in order to complement the existing Web of Science databases (the Science Citation Index Expanded, the Social Science Citation Index, and the Arts & Humanities Citation Index).
Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications has been accepted in the ESCI for its high-quality peer reviewed content of regional importance. As well as providing a mark of quality for the journal, inclusion in the ESCI will allow papers published in the journal to be searchable, discoverable and citable via the Web of Science.
