The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) has announced a new partnership with the American Society of Virology (ASV), making ASM's Journal of Virology an ASV's affiliated journal.
ASM is now extending their ASM member discounts to full ASV members for JVI individual subscriptions, page charges, APCs for optional open access, supplemental material hosting, and the purchase of reprints and e-prints. This is an average savings of over $1,200 per manuscript.
ASM's Journal of Virology publishes top innovative research that explores the nature of the
viruses of animals, archaea, bacteria, fungi, plants, and protozoa. ASV’s community of virologists will create, advance, discuss and promote this key research. JVI is the top-cited journal in the virology category of the Journal Citation Reports® (JCR) and is reviewed by the most qualified editors in the field of virology who are working scientists.
