Non-profit global library cooperative OCLC has announced a new partnership with Bibliotekscentrum Sverige AB, a provider of library software in Sweden, to deliver its flagship services, WorldShare Management Services (WMS) and WorldShare e-Services, to Swedish academic libraries.
Bibliotekscentrum will strengthen and complement the portfolio of solutions that it already delivers to the Swedish market with the addition of these OCLC services.
This is an important initiative for both organisations. WorldShare Management Services was the first cloud-based library management system when launched in 2011 and in a short period of time, it has been selected by more than 600 libraries worldwide.
