Human Kinetics, a publisher of specialised health and physical activity content for students, researchers, and professionals, has partnered with Sheridan PubFactory to host all their journal content and develop a new Video platform to launch in 2019.
Human Kinetics publishes more than 25 journals, over 500 textbook and trade book titles, and more than 200 continuing education courses in the areas of sport, health, fitness, and physical activity. Hundreds of videos, produced previously either as supplements to books and courses or as stand-alone products, will now also be more widely available as a result of this partnership.
Sheridan PubFactory claims to be the only industry service provider that can guide and support publishers at any point during the content development and publication process. The PubFactory platform and publishing services have been adopted by publishers like OUP, Journal of Neurosurgery Publishing Group, American Society for Horticultural Science, and the Society for Endocrinology’s Bioscientifica Ltd. Currently, the PubFactory platform is host to more than 1,400 journals and 400,000 books, numerous databases, and reference works along with other content types.
