Publisher John Wiley & Sons Inc. and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) have announced that AAPM&R has selected Wiley as its publishing partner for PM&R—The Journal of Injury, Function and Rehabilitation. The journal is now available on the Wiley Online Library platform. Their first issue with Wiley published on January 31, 2019.
PM&R is the official scientific journal of AAPM&R, who launched the peer-reviewed journal in 2009 specifically for the physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. The journal aims to advance education and impact the specialty through the timely delivery of clinically relevant and evidence-based research and review information. Topics include acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders and pain, neurologic conditions involving the central and peripheral nervous systems, rehabilitation of impairments associated with disabilities in adults and children, and neurophysiology and electrodiagnosis.
Founded in 1938, AAPM&R is the primary medical society for the specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). Dr. Janna Friedly was recently appointed Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
