Kudos and Impact Science have announced that American Society of Civil Engineers, Annual Reviews, BioOne and the Geological Society have signed up to join the Climate Change Knowledge Cooperative.
This fast-growing initiative will shortly launch at climate-change.info. It will provide a substantial and wide-ranging collection of plain language summaries of key climate research. The research has been specially selected and professionally summarized to ensure the broadest possible audience can find it, understand it, and act on its recommendations.
The Climate Change Knowledge Cooperative (climate-change.info) is a one-stop shop for trustworthy climate change research. It provides easy-to-understand explanations of key articles and books from over 15 scholarly publishers. The approach is designed to make sure that climate knowledge is comprehensible to and acted on by the broadest possible audience. The project is led by research communication specialists Kudos and Impact Science, in partnership with AIP Publishing (the American Institute of Physics), the American Meteorological Society, the American Society of Civil Engineers, Annual Reviews, BioOne, BRILL, Cambridge University Press, Copyright Clearance Center, De Gruyter, Delta Think, Elsevier, Frontiers, the Geological Society, IOP Publishing (Institute of Physics), IOS Press, Royal Society of Chemistry, Springer Nature and Wiley.
