USACO to remain exclusive agent for institutional sales of BMJ's resources across Japan -

Medical knowledge provider BMJ has extended an exclusive agreement with USACO Corporation to sell BMJ resources to institutional customers in Japan.

The resources will help to support the needs of medical researchers, educators, and healthcare professionals with open access, clinical decision support, and educational resources. These include non-journal products, such as BMJ Best Practice, BMJ Learning, BMJ Research to Publication, BMJ OnExamination, BMJ Open Access Membership, and journal resources, such as BMJ Journal Collections, BMJ Case Reports, and negotiated online journals subscriptions.

He added: "The Japanese healthcare system puts a high priority on preventative care instead of reactive care, so both the medical education and healthcare segments are important markets for BMJ. Japan is a vital contributor to BMJ content and product initiatives such as the recent integration of case reports with BMJ Best Practice, providing access to thousands of rare and unusual clinical cases from around the world.
